PE/PVC data transmission cable, twisted pair, shielded PAAR-TRONIC-Li-2YCYv 2x2x0.22 mm² black, color-coded wires according to DIN 47100 21129
Shielded control cable – reliable signal transmission
This flexible PA.TR.-LI-2YCYv cable is the optimal solution for transmitting control signals in areas exposed to electromagnetic interference. The double-shielded construction (foil and braid) provides high resistance to interference, guaranteeing stable and reliable data transmission. The cable is particularly recommended for RS 422 and RS 485 systems, where high signal quality is crucial.
This cable performs well in both stationary and mobile installations, offering flexibility and durability. Made of high-quality materials, including polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the outer jacket, it provides protection against mechanical damage and weathering. This makes it suitable for use indoors and outdoors, and even for direct burial in the ground.
Construction and parameters for professionals
The cable is characterized by a conductor cross-section of 0.22 mm², making it ideal for applications requiring precise signal transmission while maintaining flexibility. The twisted pair structure minimizes the influence of electromagnetic interference, and the polyethylene (PE) insulation provides excellent dielectric properties. In addition, the cable has a common shield in the form of a braid and a shield on the strands of aluminum foil, which significantly increases its resistance to interference.
The cable provides a wide range of operating temperatures – from -30°C to +80°C after installation and from -5°C to +70°C during installation, guaranteeing reliability in various environmental conditions. Multi-wire conductors (class 2) increase the cable's flexibility, making it easier to install and route in tight spaces. The outer diameter of 7.8 mm makes it easier to route the cable and adapt it to existing infrastructure. It has four cores allowing the transmission of more signals with one cable, reducing installation costs. The product meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking), confirming its compliance with safety standards.
The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the needs of a specific installation. Termi-Point® technology enables quick and solderless connections, which translates into time and cost savings during installation.
