PE/PVC data transmission cable, twisted pair, shielded PAAR-TRONIC-Li-2YCYv 4x2x0.22 mm² black, color-coded wires according to DIN 47100 21131
Shielded control cable PA.TR.-LI-2YCYv – reliable data transmission
This flexible control cable, designated PA.TR.-LI-2YCYv, is an ideal solution for transmitting signals in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference. Designed for both stationary and mobile applications, it ensures stable and secure data transmission in automation, control and monitoring systems. The cable is particularly recommended for RS 422 and RS 485 interfaces, where high transmission speed is crucial.
The cable is characterized by a construction with 8 cores (4 twisted pairs), which allows for the transmission of a larger number of signals in one cable. Made of high-quality materials, it meets stringent safety standards and is resistant to atmospheric conditions, making it suitable for installation both indoors and outdoors. The use of foil and copper braiding as a shield provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing reliable operation even in harsh industrial conditions.
Construction and properties
The PA.TR.-LI-2YCYv cable has been designed with ease of installation and durability in mind. Twisted pair copper cores minimize the influence of external interference, and polyethylene (PE) insulation provides high resistance to mechanical and chemical damage. The outer sheath made of PVC TM2 additionally protects the cable against the effects of atmospheric factors and abrasion.
The cores are made of unannealed copper, twisted in pairs for better interference reduction. Double shielding – aluminum foil and copper braiding – provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The insulation is made of special polyethylene (PE) with high dielectric properties. The outer sheath is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resistant to abrasion and weathering. The core cross-section is 0.22 mm², which ensures flexibility and ease of cable routing. The cable operates in a wide temperature range: from -30°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -5°C to +70°C during installation – guaranteeing reliability in various operating conditions.
This cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and has certificates confirming its safety and quality of workmanship. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and harmful substances to the environment. Thanks to this, the cable can be used in applications requiring high safety and environmental protection standards.
