Control cable for industrial and chain applications
This flexible control cable, catalog number 15625, is a reliable solution for demanding applications. The PUROE-JZ-HF 12G2,5 B.GIĘT cable stands out for its exceptional resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of oils and machine coolants. This makes it ideal for use in mechanical engineering, construction, rolling mills and steelworks, as well as in outdoor installations. The cable construction with 12 cores with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² provides adequate flexibility and ease of installation, especially in places with limited access.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, designed for long-term and trouble-free operation. Copper, stranded and very flexible conductors (class 6) are insulated with special TI2 PVC providing oil resistance and facilitating cable movement. Black cores are permanently marked with white numbers for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores) and a fleece braid for reinforcement of the structure. The whole is surrounded by a special polyurethane (PUR) coating, which provides high resistance to abrasion, UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and hydrolysis. This ensures that the cable retains its properties even in harsh environmental conditions.
Technical parameters and scope of applications
The PUROE-JZ-HF cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -20°C to +80°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 500 V, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4 x cable diameter for fixed laying. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 15.5 mm. Thanks to its properties, this cable is perfectly suited for use in chain installations (robotics), where high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage are required.
