Flexible cable for demanding applications

This multi-core control cable with a braid is characterized by exceptional resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of oils and coolants. This makes it perfect for harsh industrial conditions – in machines, construction, rolling mills, or steelworks. Its flexibility simplifies and speeds up installation, and the small bending radius allows it to be used in energy chains. The cable is also designed for outdoor installations.

Construction and properties

The PURÖ-JZ-HF 18G0,75 B.GIĘT cable has 18 copper strands, twisted together and insulated with special TI2 PVC providing oil resistance. The strands are black with white numbering for easy identification. A fleece braid provides additional mechanical protection, and the polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket guarantees high flexibility and weather resistance. The cable has a yellow-green protective conductor. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 12.4 mm.

Technical parameters and applications

This cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 500V and a conductor cross-section of 0.75 mm². The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter during stationary installation. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely match the length to the installation needs. Due to its properties, it finds application not only in mechanical engineering but also in construction and industrial installations requiring high reliability and durability of electrical connections.
