Flexible cable for demanding applications

This flexible control cable, with a cross-section of 1 mm² and a rated voltage of 500V, is distinguished by its exceptional resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of oils and coolants. This makes it ideal for use in mechanical engineering, construction, steel structures, and in places exposed to intensive use. The construction with flexible copper strands ensures easy installation, and the polyurethane outer jacket guarantees durability and resistance to external conditions.

Construction and properties

The PURÖ-OZ-HF 2x1 cable is designed for demanding applications. Its construction includes:

• Conductors: copper, un-tinned, stranded (class 6) – provide good conductivity and flexibility.
• Insulation: special PVC TI2 – resistant to oils and facilitates cable movement.
• Core identification: black with white numbers – simplifies the identification of individual wires.
• Braid: made of non-woven fabric – additional mechanical reinforcement.
• Outer jacket: polyurethane (PUR) – provides high resistance to abrasion, tearing, UV radiation, ozone and hydrolysis.
• Outer diameter: approximately 5.7 mm – compact size facilitates mounting in tight spaces.

The cable is metered and available in grey (RAL 7001). It is intended for both indoor and outdoor installations. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.
