Cable chain cable – reliability in dynamic applications
This specialized cable, with a cross-section of 10x0.34 mm², is designed for demanding applications in cable chains. Its construction and materials guarantee exceptional flexibility, resistance to external factors and long service life, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely match the installation needs.
Construction and properties
The S.TR.-PUROE cable stands out with its advanced construction, providing optimal performance parameters in difficult conditions. It uses high-quality stranded copper conductors, which translates into high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. PVC TI2 insulation provides good protection against mechanical and chemical damage. A key element is the TMPU polyurethane outer jacket, which is characterized by exceptional resistance to abrasion, tearing, oil and UV radiation. In addition, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.
This cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51, confirming its compliance with European quality and safety standards. This is particularly important in industrial applications and robotics, where reliability and safety are a priority.
Applications and benefits
This cable finds wide application in:
- Machine industry: ideal for powering moving parts of machines and equipment.
- Robotics: provides a reliable electrical connection in industrial and mobile robots.
- Device manufacturing: excellent for internal wiring of devices exposed to dynamic mechanical loads.
- Cable chains: specifically designed to work in cable chain systems, where high flexibility and abrasion resistance are required.
Benefits of using this cable:
- Exceptional flexibility: allows the cable to be routed freely in cable chains without the risk of damaging the conductors.
- High mechanical resistance: ensures long-term operation even in the most demanding operating conditions.
- Chemical resistance: protects against the action of oils, lubricants and other aggressive chemicals.
- Safety: halogen-free construction minimizes the risk of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
- Wide temperature range: allows the cable to be used in both low (-5°C) and high (+70°C) ambient temperatures (flexible). For stationary applications, the temperature range is from -40°C to +70°C.
- UV resistance: ensures the durability of the cable even when exposed to sunlight.
Remember to follow the rules of laying cables in energy chains and read the instructions before installation!
