This specialized PUR cable is designed for use in cable carriers, where high mechanical resistance and flexibility are required. The cable meets UL/CSA standards, guaranteeing its safety and reliability. It is an ideal solution for industry, robotics, and all kinds of machines and devices that are constantly moving.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction that ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Made of high-quality materials, such as un-tinned stranded copper conductor class 6 and polypropylene (PP) insulation, it offers excellent electrical and mechanical properties. A braided wrap on each layer (from 4 mm² without a wrap) further strengthens the construction, increasing resistance to damage. The outer polyurethane (PUR) coating provides protection against oils, UV radiation, ozone and other chemical and atmospheric factors.
- Conductors: Stranded, providing high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending.
- Insulation: Special polypropylene (PP) minimizes friction and ensures long-lasting electrical insulation.
- Sheath: Polyurethane (PUR) resistant to abrasion, cuts, tears and aggressive chemicals.
- Temperature range: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (fixed installation) and from -30°C to +90°C (flexible operation).
- Halogen-free: The materials used in production do not contain halogen, which increases safety in the event of a fire.
