PUR cable for cable carriers acc. to UL/CSA HELUCHAIN® MULTIFLEX 512®-PUR UL/CSA 25G0,5 mm² grey, black wires numbered acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 21567
Flexible PUR cable for demanding applications
This high-quality flexible cable, identified as HELUKABEL MULTIFLEX 512-PUR UL/CSA, is designed for use in harsh industrial environments and beyond. The cable is distinguished by its exceptional mechanical and chemical resistance, as well as approval for use in energy chains. It is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users looking for a reliable and durable cable.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures long-term and trouble-free operation. Made of multi-wire copper conductors class 6 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), insulated with special PP, it guarantees flexibility and resistance to repeated bending. The conductors are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch, and the whole is surrounded by a special braid (except for cables with a cross-section below 4 mm²). The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, cuts, tearing, and the action of oils, chemicals and UV radiation. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.
- Mechanical strength: Resistant to abrasion, cuts and tearing - ideal for dynamic applications.
- Chemical resistance: Withstands contact with oils, chemicals, seawater and other aggressive substances.
- Flexibility: Construction with multi-wire conductors ensures high flexibility even at low temperatures.
- Safety: Halogen-free jacket minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
- Approvals: Has UL/CSA certificates confirming compliance with safety standards.
- Wide temperature range: Possibility of operation at temperatures from -40°C to +90°C (flexibly) and -30°C to +90°C (during installation).
Applications and standards
This cable finds wide application in industry, especially in machines and equipment exposed to intense movements - robotics, production lines or conveyors. It will also be useful in the oil and gas sector as a control cable and for instrumentation on drilling platforms, as well as in chemical plants. Thanks to its resistance to drilling fluids (NEK TS 606), it is ideal for applications requiring high performance.
- Mechanical industry: Powering moving parts of machines and equipment.
- Robotics: Powering manipulators and other automation devices.
- Oil and gas sector: Control cables and instrumentation on drilling platforms.
- Chemical and petrochemical plants: Powering equipment operating in an aggressive chemical environment.
- Outdoor installations: Resistance to weather conditions allows the cable to be used outdoors.
The cable meets the standards UL 758 (AWM Style 21209) and CSA C22.2 No. 210 - AWM I/II A/B, which guarantees its safety and reliability. It also has a DNV GL (Det Norske Veritas Germanischer Lloyd) certificate. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 13.7 mm with a conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm². The cable has 25 working conductors and optionally a green-yellow protective conductor (marked "G").
