PUR cable for cable carriers acc. to UL/CSA HELUCHAIN® MULTIFLEX 512®-PUR UL/CSA 25G2,5 mm² grey, black numbered cores acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 21617
Highly durable flexible cable for industrial applications and harsh environments. This 25-core flexible cable, HELUKABEL MULTIFLEX 512-PUR UL/CSA, is designed for use in demanding industrial environments, including cable carriers and moving parts of machines. It features high resistance to mechanical and chemical influences, making it an ideal choice for both installers and end-users seeking a reliable solution. The cable has UL/CSA certifications, confirming its compliance with strict safety standards.
Construction and properties
The cable stands out with its advanced construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Copper, stranded conductors of class 6 (very flexible) are insulated with special PP, providing flexibility and resistance to damage. Twisted cores minimize interference, and a special braid (from 4 mm² no braid) further strengthens the construction. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) is characterized by high resistance to abrasion, cuts, tearing, and the action of oils, chemicals and UV radiation. The cable is halogen-free, increasing safety in the event of a fire.
- Chemical resistance: Exhibits resistance to oils, UV radiation, ozone, oxygen, weathering, hydrolysis and many chemical substances – from acids to drilling fluids.
- Mechanical strength: Designed for operation in cable carriers and moving applications – tested for over 10 million bending cycles.
- Safety: Halogen-free jacket material reduces the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire. It has UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 certifications confirming fire resistance.
- Flexibility: Multi-wire construction of class 6 cores provides high flexibility even at low temperatures (down to -40°C).
- Temperature range: Operation in temperatures from -30°C to +90°C (flexible) and -40°C to +90°C (stationary).
- Core identification: Numbers facilitate the identification of individual cores during installation and maintenance.
Applications
This cable finds wide application in various industries:
- Machine industry: Ideal for powering moving parts of machines and equipment, robotics and automation systems.
- Oil and gas sector: Resistant to drilling fluids (according to NEK TS 606), making it suitable for use on drilling platforms and ships.
- Chemical and petrochemical industry: Resistance to aggressive chemicals guarantees reliable operation in difficult environmental conditions.
- Outdoor installations: Possibility of use outdoors due to resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation.
- Food industry: Due to the materials used in production, it does not contain silicone or cadmium.
Thanks to its versatility and high-quality workmanship, this cable is an excellent solution for professionals looking for a reliable and durable product. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 24.4 mm and the rated voltage U is 600V. The conductor cross-section is 2.5 mm².
