Construction and properties
The cable features a multi-wire strand construction (class 6), providing high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during dynamic movements. PP insulation minimizes friction, and the polyurethane (PUR) jacket provides excellent protection against mechanical, chemical, and atmospheric factors. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, increasing safety in the event of a fire. It is worth noting the wide operating temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C (flexible and stationary) – which allows it to be used in a variety of applications. The cable has 36 cores with a cross-section of 1 mm², identified by numbers for easy identification.
Applications and benefits
This cable performs excellently in industrial installations where high resistance to abrasion, cuts, and tears is required. It is particularly recommended for use in energy chains, robotics, and continuously moving machinery. In the oil and gas sector, it is used as a control cable and for instrumentation on drilling rigs and ships, thanks to its resistance to drilling fluids (according to NEK TS 606). The low adhesion of the PUR jacket makes it easier to route cables in tight spaces and minimizes the risk of damage.
