PUR cable for cable carriers acc. to UL/CSA HELUCHAIN® MULTIFLEX 512®-PUR UL/CSA 4G0,5 mm² grey, black cores numbered acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 21561
Flexible cable for energy chains – reliability in harsh conditions
This grey HELUKABEL MULTIFLEX 512-PUR UL/CSA cable, with an outer diameter of 6.4 mm, is designed for demanding industrial applications and the oil and gas sector. This cable, made of halogen-free polyurethane (PUR), provides exceptional flexibility and durability, even with intense bending and movement. Four copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² guarantee adequate conductivity, and the rated voltage of 600 V enables a wide range of applications.
Construction and properties
The cable stands out with its advanced construction, which translates into its unique properties. Multi-wire stranded conductors of class 6 (very flexible) are insulated with special PP, which ensures their resistance to mechanical and chemical damage. The conductors are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch, and an additional braid (in versions from 4 mm²) increases tensile strength. The TMPU polyurethane coating is characterized by high resistance to abrasion, cuts, tearing, and the action of oils, UV radiation, ozone and many other chemicals. This makes the cable perfect for use in harsh industrial conditions.
Applications and benefits
This cable is ideal for use in cable carriers, robotics and other constantly moving parts of machines. Its halogen-free coating increases fire safety, and the DNV GL certificate confirms its high quality and reliability. Additionally:
- Wide operating temperature range: from -40°C to +90°C (flexibly) and -30°C to +80°C (during installation).
- Resistance to aggressive environments: ideal for use in the chemical, petrochemical and oil and gas industries.
- Excellent flexibility: allows for repeated bending without loss of conductive properties.
- Safety: the absence of halogen in the coating minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation during a fire.
- Durability: high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage ensures a long cable life.
- Conductor identification: Numbers facilitate the identification of individual wires during installation.
- Compliance with standards: UL/CSA and other standards ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
