Flexible PUR cable for demanding applications

This grey flexible HELUKABEL MULTIFLEX 512-PUR cable, with a cross-section of 10 mm², is designed for use in harsh industrial environments, including in cable carriers (energy chains). It meets UL/CSA standards, confirming its high quality and safety. This cable is particularly recommended for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-term reliability. It consists of a multi-wire copper conductor class 6, insulated with special PP. The wires are twisted in layers, and the whole is surrounded by a durable, halogen-free polyurethane (PUR) coating. This construction provides resistance to abrasion, cuts, tearing, and exposure to oils, chemicals, UV radiation and weather conditions. Additionally, the cable is resistant to hydrolysis and microorganisms.

• Flexibility: Thanks to the multi-wire construction of the conductors and the use of special PUR, the cable maintains high flexibility even with repeated bending – ideal for cable carriers.
• Chemical resistance: Withstands contact with oils, hydraulic fluids, acids, alkalis and other aggressive chemicals.
• Safety: Halogen-free jacket material minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
• Temperature range: Allows operation in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +90°C (flexible) and from -30°C to +80°C during installation.
• Application in the oil and gas sector: Resistance to drilling fluids (according to NEK TS 606) makes it an ideal solution for drilling rigs and other offshore installations.
