Cable carriers for industrial applications

This high-quality m.FLEX 512-PUR cable, designed for cable carriers, is engineered for demanding industrial applications, including robotics and continuously moving machinery. It features exceptional flexibility and resistance to external factors, ensuring reliable operation even in harsh conditions. The cable has UL/CSA certifications, confirming its compliance with stringent safety standards.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of a multi-wire copper conductor, class 6, insulated with special PP. The conductors are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch, and from 4 mm² are additionally secured with a braid. The outer jacket is made of TMPU-type polyurethane (PUR), which provides high resistance to abrasion, cuts, tearing, and exposure to oils, UV radiation, ozone, and other aggressive chemicals. The cable is halogen-free and does not contain silicone or cadmium. The jacket color is gray (RAL 7001).

• Flexibility: The cable maintains full flexibility over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C during installation and from -30°C to +90°C during operation.
• Mechanical strength: The special design and materials provide high resistance to mechanical loads and long-term use in continuous motion conditions.
• Chemical resistance: The cable is resistant to oils, hydraulic fluids, acids, alkalis, lubricants, and seawater.
• Safety: Meets UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards for flame retardancy and is compliant with Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
• Conductor identification: Conductors are numbered for easy identification. A version with a green-yellow protective conductor (G marking) or without it (x marking) is also available.
