This high-quality flexible cable, catalog number 21584, is designed for use in demanding industrial environments. The HELUKABEL MULTIFLEX 512-PUR UL/CSA 5G1 cable, with halogen-free PUR insulation, is an ideal solution for indoor and outdoor installations where durability and resistance to external factors are important. This cable is particularly recommended for cable carriers (energy chains), robotics, and machines and equipment constantly exposed to movement.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. It is made of five copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm², which provides adequate conductivity. The conductors are surrounded by special PP insulation, and the whole is protected by a durable polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket. This combination of materials guarantees resistance to abrasion, cuts, tears, and the influence of oils, UV radiation, ozone and other aggressive chemicals. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

The cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (in versions marked with "G"), which provides additional safety. The use of a special braid (no braid from 4 mm² onwards) increases the mechanical strength of the cable and protects it from damage. The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter for flexible operation and 3x the cable diameter for fixed laying.
