Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, utilizing stranded copper conductors class 6, providing high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Polypropylene (PP) insulation minimizes friction, and the outer polyurethane (PUR) coating offers exceptional resistance to abrasion, cuts, tearing, and the action of oils, chemicals, and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in case of fire.

The m.FLEX 512-PUR cable finds wide application in the machine industry, robotics, and the oil and gas sector. It is ideal for powering mobile devices, such as industrial robots or portable construction machines. Thanks to its resistance to drilling fluids (according to NEK TS 606), it also performs perfectly on drilling platforms and in petrochemical plants. The cable is available with a protective conductor (G) or without it (x), allowing it to be adapted to specific installation needs. The outer diameter of the cable is 23.8 mm with a conductor cross-section of 16 mm². The gray color (RAL 7001) facilitates identification and aesthetic mounting.
