This high-quality flexible cable, identified as HELUKABEL MULTIFLEX 512-PUR UL/CSA, is designed for demanding industrial applications, particularly in cable carrier systems (energy chains). It meets UL/CSA standards, guaranteeing its safety and reliability in various environments. This cable is distinguished by its exceptional resistance to external factors and mechanical degradation.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Made of stranded copper conductors, class 6 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), it provides flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. The core insulation made of special PP minimizes the risk of damage, and the black color with white numbers facilitates identification. Twisted cores in layers with an optimal pitch ensure electrical stability. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (in version G) for increased safety. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, cuts, tearing, and aggressive chemicals – oils, acids, alkalis and many others. PUR is also resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions.

This cable is halogen-free, which means that in the event of a fire, it releases a minimal amount of toxic gases. This is particularly important in applications where the safety of people and environmental protection are a priority. It has been tested for resistance to drilling fluids (NEK TS 606) and has a DNV GL certificate.
