Flexible cable for energy chains – reliability in motion

This high-quality flexible cable, with a cross-section of 6 mm² and five cores, is designed for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. It is ideal for energy chain systems, robotics, and machines and equipment exposed to continuous movement. Made of halogen-free polyurethane (PUR), it ensures safety and durability in demanding industrial conditions.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on a multi-wire copper core of class 6, providing high flexibility. The core insulation is made of special PP, and the outer jacket of TMPU polyurethane, guaranteeing resistance to abrasion, cuts, tears, and the action of oils, chemicals, and UV radiation. The cores are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch, and from 4 mm² do not have a braid. This ensures that the cable retains its properties even with intensive use.

The cable meets stringent UL/CSA standards, confirming its high quality and safety. It is resistant to vertical flame propagation (UL VW-1, CSA FT1) and to drilling fluids (NEK TS 606). It is designed to operate in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -30°C to +80°C during installation. The minimum bending radius is 5x cable diameter for dynamic applications and 3x cable diameter for static installations.
