PUR cable for cable carriers acc. to UL/CSA HELUCHAIN® MULTIFLEX 512®-PUR UL/CSA 7G1,5 mm² grey, black numbered cores acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 21599
Flexible cable for chain guides – reliability in harsh conditions
This grey flexible cable HELUKABEL series MULTIFLEX 512-PUR 7G1.5 is designed for applications requiring high mechanical strength and resistance to external factors. The cable is distinguished by a construction allowing operation in cable carriers, making it an ideal solution in machines and equipment with continuous movement. Designed for demanding industrial applications, it provides a reliable connection in dynamic environments.
Construction and properties
The cable consists of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², insulated with special PP. The conductors are twisted in layers, ensuring optimal pitch and flexibility. The whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) jacket, which guarantees resistance to abrasion, cuts, tears and the action of oils, chemicals and UV radiation. Additionally, the PUR coating is halogen-free, which increases safety. Black conductors are numbered for easy identification.
The cable is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to bending – tested for approximately 10 million bending cycles. It is designed to operate in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C (during installation) and from -30°C to +90°C (in motion). The rated voltage of the cable is 600 V. Compliance with UL/CSA standards confirms its high quality and safety. The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter during dynamic operation and 3x the diameter during static laying. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 11.3 mm.
Applications and benefits
This cable finds wide application in industry, especially in machines and equipment with continuous movement, robotics and the oil and gas sector. It will work well as a control cable and for instrumentation on drilling platforms, ships and in chemical and petrochemical plants. Its resistance to drilling fluids (according to NEK TS 606) makes it an ideal choice for demanding applications.
- Mechanical strength: Construction designed for operation in cable carriers ensures long-term reliability even in the most demanding conditions.
- Chemical resistance: Resistant to oils, chemicals, UV radiation and microorganisms – ideal for harsh industrial environments.
- Safety: Halogen-free jacket material minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire.
- Flexibility: Allows free cable routing without damage even with frequent bending.
- Wide temperature range: Possibility of use in extreme temperature conditions (-40°C to +90°C).
- Compliance with standards: UL/CSA certificates guarantee high quality and safety.
