Cable chain cable – reliability in motion
This specialized S.TR.C-PUR 4x0.25 cable is designed for operation in demanding conditions, especially in cable chain applications. Its construction and materials guarantee a long service life and reliable operation even under intense mechanical stress. The cable is shielded, which minimizes electromagnetic interference, and its halogen-free coating increases safety.
Construction and application
This cable is used in mechanical engineering, robotics and anywhere that requires high flexibility and resistance to external factors. It is ideal for flexible connections where there is medium mechanical stress. Thanks to the copper screen, it provides effective protection against internal and external interference. The polyurethane outer jacket protects against abrasion, tearing and the influence of oils, making it an ideal solution for harsh industrial environments. Remember to follow the rules for laying cables in energy chains – refer to the instructions before installation.
Key features and benefits
- Exceptional flexibility: Enables operation in dynamic applications such as cable chains without the risk of damaging the conductors.
- Resistance to external factors: The polyurethane outer jacket provides resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils and UV radiation.
- Shielding: The copper screen minimizes electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission.
- Halogen-free: Increases safety by limiting the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
- High quality workmanship: Twisted copper strands ensure durability and reliability of connections.
- Compliance with standards: The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51, which confirms its safety and quality.
- Wide operating temperature range: Flexible temperature range from -30°C to +70°C and stationary from -40°C to +70°C allows for use in various working environments.
Technical data in brief
The cable has four conductors with a cross-section of 0.25 mm², insulated with PP material and wrapped with textile foil for additional protection. The rated voltage is 350 V (with 0.14 mm² conductors) or 500 V (with 0.25 and 0.34 mm² conductors). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 5.3 mm. The insulation resistance is at least 100 MOhm x km and the conductor/conductor capacitance is less than 80 nF/km. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for fixed installation.
