PUR cable for cable conduits PURö-J-HF 1G16 mm² black cores numbered acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 15655
Robust control cable for demanding applications
This flexible PURÖ-J-HF cable with a cross-section of 16 mm² is designed for applications where resistance to abrasion, oils and extreme working conditions are crucial. It is ideal for use in mechanical engineering, construction, chain installations and environments exposed to coolants and solvents. The cable is characterized by high flexibility, which simplifies and speeds up installation, even in hard-to-reach places.
This cable is particularly recommended for outdoor use, and its construction ensures reliable operation even with frequent bending and twisting. This makes it an excellent choice for installations in moving parts of machines and equipment.
Construction and properties
The PURÖ-J-HF cable stands out with a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation:
- Conductor: Copper, stranded, very flexible (class 6) – provides excellent conductivity and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending.
- Insulation: Special PVC TI2 – resistant to oils and improved in terms of slip properties, which facilitates pulling the cable through conduits.
- Core identification: Black cores with white numbers – simplifies the identification of individual conductors during installation and servicing.
- Screening: No screen – dedicated to applications where screening is not required.
- Braid: Fabric – provides additional protection of the cores against mechanical damage.
- Outer jacket: Polyurethane (PUR) TMPU – resistant to abrasion, tearing, UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and hydrolysis. Provides high flexibility even at low temperatures.
- Outer diameter: 8.5 mm – compact dimensions facilitate installation in tight spaces.
Technical parameters and operating range
The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 and is characterized by the following parameters:
- Rated voltage: 500 V
- Temperature range (flexible): -20°C to +80°C
- Temperature range (stationary): -40°C to +80°C
- Minimum bending radius (flexible): 7.5 x cable diameter
- Minimum bending radius (fixed installation): 4 x cable diameter
- Insulation resistance: min. 20 MOhm x km
- Test voltage: 4000 V
- Breakdown voltage: min. 8000 V
The cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
