Flexible control cable for demanding applications

This flexible, 500V cable with a polyurethane (PUR) braid is the ideal solution where durability, abrasion resistance and flexibility are paramount. The cable is designed for use in harsh industrial environments, including in machines, construction, rolling mills and steelworks. Its construction ensures reliable operation even in areas exposed to intense mechanical loads and contact with oils and coolants.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on stranded, flexible copper conductors, class 6. The conductor is insulated with special TI2 PVC, providing high oil resistance and facilitating cable movement. Black conductors are numbered with white digits for easy identification. The whole is surrounded by a durable TMPU polyurethane jacket, which provides resistance to abrasion, UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and hydrolysis. The cable is metered and available in grey (RAL 7001).

Technical parameters and application

The cable has a conductor cross-section of 6 mm² and a rated voltage of 500 V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for dynamic laying and 4 x cable diameter for static laying. Thanks to these parameters, it finds application in:
