Robust control cable for demanding conditions

This flexible control cable, designated PUROE-JZ-HF 18G1,5, is designed for operation in harsh industrial environments. It features high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of oils and coolants, making it an ideal solution for machines and equipment exposed to intensive use. This cable is metered and has 18 cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², insulated with PVC and surrounded by a special polyurethane (PUR) coating.

Construction and properties

The PUROE-JZ-HF 18G1,5 cable stands out with its careful construction ensuring reliability and long-term operation. Multi-strand, twisted copper cores guarantee the flexibility necessary for dynamic movements and frequent bending. Black cores with white numbers facilitate the identification of individual wires during installation and servicing. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores), ensuring safe use. A fleece braid and a special outer coating made of TMPU polyurethane provide additional protection against mechanical damage and external factors.

This cable is resistant to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and hydrolysis – allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and lacquer-inhibiting substance free. Thanks to this, the cable meets stringent safety and quality standards (CE) and is compliant with the low voltage directive 2014/35/EU. The operating temperature range of the cable is -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -20°C to +80°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4 x cable diameter for fixed laying.
