Flexible cable for demanding applications

This flexible PURÖ-JZ-HF 3G2.5 cable is a reliable solution for applications where resistance to abrasion, tearing and oil exposure is crucial. Ideal for mechanical engineering, construction, rolling mills and steel plants – anywhere standard cables fail. Its construction provides high flexibility, which translates to quick and easy installation, as well as the possibility of use in chain installations.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction based on twisted copper conductors, insulated with special PVC TI2 providing resistance to oils. The conductors are numbered for easy identification. A fleece wrap and a TMPU polyurethane outer jacket guarantee high mechanical strength and resistance to external factors. The gray color (RAL 7001) makes it easy to identify the cable in the installation.

• Durable insulation: Special PVC TI2 provides excellent oil resistance and improved slip, which is crucial in harsh industrial conditions.
• Flexibility: Thanks to the multi-wire conductor construction (class 6), the cable is exceptionally flexible and easy to route, even in tight spaces.
• Resistance to external conditions: Resistant to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and hydrolysis – ideal for outdoor applications.
• Safety: Complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
• Durability: Materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.

Technical parameters and scope of applications

The cable has a cross-section of 2.5 mm² and a rated voltage of 500 V. It is designed to operate in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -20°C to +80°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4 x cable diameter for fixed laying. Thanks to these parameters, it finds application not only in industrial installations, but also in construction and outdoor installations. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8.4 mm.
