Control cable for demanding conditions
This flexible control cable, made from high-quality materials, is distinguished by its exceptional resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of machine oils and coolants. This makes it ideal for harsh industrial conditions, such as construction, machine installations, rolling mills, and steelworks. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation.
A key feature of this cable is its flexibility, which ensures quick and easy installation, even in tight spaces. The use of a special polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket guarantees long-term protection against external factors and mechanical damage. The cable cores are made of oxygen-free copper and have class 6 – which means they are stranded and very flexible. In addition, the cores are black with white number printing, which facilitates their identification during installation.
Construction and parameters
The PURÖ-JZ-HF 4G0,5 cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring reliable operation:
- Cores: unannealed copper, stranded, fine-wire (class 6 according to DIN VDE 0295).
- Core insulation: special PVC TI2 with high oil resistance and improved slip (DIN VDE 0207-363-3 / DIN EN 50363-3).
- Braid: made of non-woven fabric for additional mechanical protection.
- Outer jacket: polyurethane (PUR) TMPU (DIN VDE 0207-363-10-2 / DIN EN 50363-10-2), grey (RAL 7001).
- Core cross-section: 0.5 mm².
- Number of cores: 4.
- Rated voltage: 500 V.
- Outer diameter: approximately 5.6 mm.
- Temperature range: flexible -20°C to +80°C, stationary -40°C to +80°C.
The cable meets the requirements of the CE standard (compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU) and DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 standards. It also has high resistance to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and hydrolysis. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substances. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter during fixed installation.
