Robust control cable for demanding applications

This flexible PURÖ-JZ-HF cable with a cross-section of 70 mm² is designed for operation in harsh industrial environments. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of oils and coolants, making it an ideal choice for use in machinery, construction, rolling mills and steelworks. This cable is particularly recommended for chain installations, where high flexibility and a small bending radius significantly facilitate assembly. The possibility of outdoor use further increases its versatility.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of stranded copper conductors, numbered for easy identification. PVC TI2 insulation provides oil resistance and facilitates cable routing. The strands are twisted in parallel and secured with a fleece braid, and the whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating, resistant to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and hydrolysis. This ensures that the cable retains its properties even in extreme atmospheric and mechanical conditions. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely match the length to the installation needs.

Parameters and application

The cable has a rated voltage of 500 V and is designed to operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -20°C to +80°C (flexible). Its outer diameter is 38.5 mm. The use of the cable in outdoor installations is possible due to its resistance to atmospheric factors. It is important to remember that when installing in energy chains, the manufacturer's instructions regarding cable routing must be followed. The product meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
