Flexible cable for demanding applications

This flexible control cable with a polyurethane (PUR) jacket is designed for operation in harsh industrial environments. It features exceptional resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of oils and coolants, making it an ideal solution for machines, construction, rolling mills and other demanding applications. Its construction provides high flexibility, simplifying and accelerating installation, especially in energy chains.

This cable is intended for use both indoors and outdoors. Made from high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation even in extreme temperatures – from -40°C to +80°C during stationary operation and from -20°C to +80°C during dynamic operation.

Construction and properties

The PURÖ-JZ-HF 5G1.5 cable consists of five copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², insulated with special PVC TI2 providing oil resistance and facilitating sliding. The conductors are black with white numbering for easy identification. The protective conductor (yellow-green color) is present from 3 conductors upwards. The twisted conductors are surrounded by a non-woven fabric braid, and the whole is protected by a durable polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket in gray (RAL 7001).

User parameters and compliance with standards

The PURÖ-JZ-HF 5G1.5 cable is designed in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 standards. Its rated voltage is 500 V, and the minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during dynamic operation and 4 x cable diameter for fixed laying. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing of the required length.
