Robust control cable for industrial applications

This flexible control cable, with an outer diameter of 7.6 mm, is designed to operate in demanding industrial conditions. It features high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of oils and coolants, making it an ideal solution in construction, mechanical engineering, rolling mills and steelworks. Its flexibility simplifies and speeds up installation, and the small bending radius allows it to be used even in confined spaces.

Construction and materials ensuring long-term operation

The cable has five copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm², insulated with special TI2 PVC providing oil resistance and easy sliding. The conductors are twisted in parallel and surrounded by a non-woven fabric braid for additional protection. The whole is covered with a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating, resistant to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and hydrolysis. Black conductors are numbered with white digits for easy identification. This makes the cable not only durable but also easy to use and maintain.

Application and compliance with standards

This cable is perfect for outdoor installations and in energy chains (observing appropriate laying rules). It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 standards. It can be used at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -20°C to +80°C during operation. The rated voltage is 500 V. The minimum bending radius is 4x the cable diameter for fixed laying and 7.5x the cable diameter during dynamic operation.
