This flexible 5G10 cable with a polyurethane (PUR) braid is designed for operation in harsh industrial environments. It features high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of oils and coolants, making it an ideal choice for use in machinery, construction, rolling mills and other demanding environments. This cable is particularly recommended for chain installations, where its flexibility and durability are key. The possibility of outdoor use further increases its versatility.

Construction and properties

The PURÖ-JZ-HF 5G10 cable is distinguished by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. It is made of five copper conductors with a cross-section of 10 mm², insulated with special TI2 PVC, which is oil-resistant and provides good slip. The conductors are twisted in parallel and surrounded by a non-woven fabric braid, and the whole is covered with a gray (RAL 7001) TMPU polyurethane sheath. This construction guarantees high flexibility, resistance to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and hydrolysis. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free.

The cable has a rated voltage of 500V and complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 standards. This ensures safe and reliable operation in various electrical applications. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible installations and 4 x cable diameter for fixed installations. The operating temperature range is -20°C to +80°C (flexible) and -40°C to +80°C (stationary).
