PUR cable for cable conduits PURö-JZ-HF 7G16 mm² black conductors numbered acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 15647
Flexible control cable for demanding applications
This 7-core flexible PUROE-JZ-HF cable with a cross-section of 16 mm² is a robust solution for applications where resistance to abrasion, oils and extreme conditions is important. Made from high-quality materials, it provides reliable connections in mechanical engineering, construction, steel structures and other demanding environments. The cable is particularly recommended for chain installations due to its exceptional flexibility and small bending radius.
Construction and properties
The cable features an advanced construction ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The multi-strand copper conductors, class 6, are insulated with special oil-resistant TI2 PVC, which also facilitates installation. The cores are numbered for easy identification during installation. A fleece braid and an outer polyurethane (PUR) coating provide additional protection against mechanical damage and weathering. The cable is available in grey (RAL 7001) and is supplied in metre lengths.
Applications and benefits
- Mechanical engineering: ideal for powering moving machine parts where high flexibility and abrasion resistance are required.
- Construction and installations: suitable for use in areas exposed to mechanical damage and contact with oils.
- Rolling mills and steelworks: resistance to extreme temperatures and chemicals guarantees reliable operation in harsh industrial conditions.
- Chain installations: small bending radius and high flexibility allow for easy cable routing in energy chains.
- Outdoor installations: UV resistance allows the cable to be used outdoors.
- Wide operating temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -20°C to +80°C (flexible) ensures reliability in various climatic conditions.
- Chemical resistance: high resistance to oils, coolants and other chemicals increases the cable's durability in harsh industrial environments.
- Safety: meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
Additional information: the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores). A shielded version PURÖ-JZ-HF-YCP with similar parameters is also available. Remember to follow the rules for laying the cable when using it in energy chains – refer to the manufacturer's instructions before installation.
