Flexible cable for demanding applications

This flexible control cable with a polyurethane (PUR) jacket is designed for intensive use in harsh industrial environments. It features high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and oils and coolants, making it an ideal choice for use in machinery, construction, rolling mills and other demanding environments. Its construction provides high flexibility, simplifying and accelerating installation.

Construction and properties

The PUROE-OZ-HF 2x0.5 cable combines a solid construction with high-quality materials. It is made of multi-strand copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², insulated with special PVC TI2 providing resistance to oils and facilitating movement. The conductors are black with white numbers for easy identification. Parallel twisted conductors are surrounded by a non-woven fabric braid and a durable polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket in gray (RAL 7001). This makes the cable resistant to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and hydrolysis, as well as conditionally to the action of microbes. Importantly, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.

Applications and operating parameters

This cable performs perfectly in both internal and external installations. It can be used in chain installations thanks to the small bending radius and high abrasion resistance. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -20°C to +80°C during dynamic operation. The rated voltage of the cable is 500 V, and its outer diameter is approximately 4.9 mm. Remember to follow the rules for laying the cable in energy chains and familiarize yourself with the instructions before mounting in cable ducts. The product meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE).
