Construction and properties
The JZ-500 PUR cable is characterized by a solid construction. A durable outer coating made of polyurethane (PUR) provides protection against mechanical damage and the effects of atmospheric factors. Multi-strand, flexible (class 5) copper conductors, insulated with PVC, guarantee good conductivity and easy installation. The cores are marked with numbers for easy identification. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone, and hydrolysis – which translates to its longevity even in demanding environments. The surface of the coating is matte and has low adhesion. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium, and substances that interfere with painting.
Applications and technical parameters
This cable is perfect for anywhere where high flexibility and resistance to external factors are required. Its wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +80°C) allows it to be used both indoors and outdoors. The rated voltage U is 500 V, and the outer diameter of the cable is approximately 12.2 mm. Thanks to compliance with DIN VDE 0285-525-1/ DIN EN 50525-1 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, you can be sure of its safety and reliability. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x diameter during fixed installation. Insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km and test voltage is 4000V.
