Robust control cable for demanding conditions
This flexible 500V JZ-500 PUR cable with four cores (4G1) is a solid solution for applications where mechanical and chemical resistance are important. Made of polyurethane (PUR) with PVC insulation, it provides reliable connections in harsh industrial environments. The cable cores are numbered for easy identification during installation and servicing.
Construction and properties
The cable is particularly resistant to abrasion, tearing, and the action of mineral oils and coolants. This makes it ideal for use in mechanical engineering, construction, rolling mills and steelworks – anywhere it is exposed to intensive use and contact with aggressive substances. The flexible construction with multi-strand class 5 cores makes installation and assembly easier and faster, even in tight spaces. Additionally, the outer jacket has a matte, low-adhesion finish.
The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-1/ DIN EN 50525-1 standards, confirming its high quality and safety. The cable is sold by the meter, making it easy to precisely match the length to the installation needs. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible), guaranteeing reliable operation over a wide temperature range. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km, and the test voltage is at least 8000 V – these parameters ensure a high level of safety. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible routing and 4 x diameter for fixed laying.
Additional features:

- Silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free.
- Available in grey (RAL 7001), but other outer jacket colors are available on request.
