Flexible PUR cable – reliability in harsh conditions

This 5-core JZ-500 PUR cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is an excellent solution wherever high flexibility and resistance to external factors are required. Made of polyurethane (PUR), it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation in demanding industrial, construction and machine environments. The cable is particularly recommended for applications where exposure to mineral oils, coolants and intense abrasion occurs.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction based on multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), insulated with PVC. The conductors are twisted in parallel and numbered for easy identification. The durable outer PUR (polyurethane) coating provides resistance to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone, hydrolysis and the action of microorganisms. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting processes. This makes the cable safe to use and does not negatively affect production processes.

The JZ-500 PUR 5G2,5 cable has a rated voltage of 500V and a conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10.1 mm. The gray color (RAL 7001) makes it easier to identify the cable in the installation. The cable is metered, making it easier to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs.
