Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by exceptional flexibility thanks to its multi-strand wire construction (class 5). PVC TI2 insulation and an outer polyurethane (PUR) coating provide resistance to abrasion, tearing, mineral oils (including coolants), and UV, oxygen, and ozone radiation. Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium, and paint-inhibiting substance-free. The cable cores are numbered for easy identification. The gray color (RAL 7001) makes it easier to recognize cables in the installation.
Applications and technical parameters
JZ-500 PUR cable is widely used in mechanical engineering, construction, industrial installations, rolling mills, and steelworks – anywhere high mechanical and chemical resistance is required. It is particularly recommended for places exposed to intensive use and contact with aggressive substances.
The rated voltage is 500 V, the permissible ambient temperature during installation is -15°C to +80°C, and in continuous operation -40°C to +80°C. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.2 mm, and the insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 7.5 times the cable diameter, and for fixed laying – 4 times the cable diameter. The cable exhibits radiation resistance up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad).
The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-1/ DIN EN 50525-1 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. This is a guarantee of safety and reliable operation in every application.
