Flexible cable OZ-500 PUR 3x1 is a reliable solution for applications requiring high mechanical and chemical resistance. This cable, made of high-quality materials, performs perfectly in harsh industrial, construction, and machine and equipment environments. Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by twisted copper strands, providing it with flexibility class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. The core insulation is made of special PVC TI2, guaranteeing good electrical insulation and abrasion resistance. The cores are marked with numbers, making them easier to identify during installation. The whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating, providing resistance to mineral oils, coolants, UV radiation, ozone, and the action of bacteria and microorganisms. The coating surface is matte and has low adhesion. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free.
Applications and parameters
The OZ-500 PUR 3x1 cable is primarily used in mechanical engineering, construction, rolling mills and steelworks - wherever high mechanical and chemical resistance is required. It is ideal for powering mobile devices and in places exposed to intensive use.
The rated voltage is 500 V, and the rated core cross-section is 1 mm². The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 5.9 mm. The permissible ambient temperature during installation is from -15°C to +80°C, and in a stationary state from -40°C to +80°C. The insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 7.5 x cable diameter, and for fixed laying – 4 x cable diameter.
The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-1/ DIN EN 50525-1 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. This guarantees its safety and reliability.
