Robust control cable for demanding conditions

This flexible OZ-500 PUR 4x0.5 cable is a reliable solution for applications where resistance to abrasion, tearing and oils is crucial. Ideal for use in mechanical engineering, construction, rolling mills or steelworks – it will perform well in places exposed to intensive use and contact with chemicals. The cable is characterized by high flexibility, which significantly facilitates and speeds up installation.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed for long-term and trouble-free operation. Its construction is based on four copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², insulated with special PVC TI2. The conductors are twisted in parallel, and the whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating in gray (RAL 7001). The materials used are resistant to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone, hydrolysis and the action of microorganisms. The coating has a matte, low-adhesion finish. Importantly – silicone, cadmium or substances interfering with painting were not used in the production process.

This cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-1/ DIN EN 50525-1 and has a rated voltage of U0/U 300/500 V. It ensures safe operation in the temperature range from -15°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +80°C (stationary). The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter during fixed installation.
