Industrial Applications Flexible Cable

This 500V orange flexible cable with PUR-JB insulation 4G1 is a reliable solution for demanding industrial environments. It provides the flexibility and durability necessary in applications exposed to abrasion, oils and other external factors. The cable is particularly recommended for powering portable devices and in places where contact with chemicals is unavoidable.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, using stranded copper conductors, providing good flexibility (class 5). Insulation made of PVC TI2 guarantees safety and resistance to damage. A polyurethane (PUR) braid provides exceptional resistance to abrasion, oils, greases, fuels, weathering and UV radiation. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone and cadmium free, making it environmentally friendly and safe to use. An internal PVC coating facilitates stripping the insulation during installation.

The cable has a yellow-green protective conductor, which increases safety. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-1 /DIN EN 50525-1 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

Parameters and applications

This cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The rated voltage U is 500V, and the conductor cross-section is 1 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8 mm. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x outer diameter during flexible operation and 4 x outer diameter for fixed installation.
