Flexible PUR control cable with numbered cores
This 5-core flexible cable, with a rated voltage of 500V, is designed for demanding industrial applications and installations where mechanical and chemical resistance are crucial. Made from high-quality materials, it provides reliable connections in harsh conditions. The cable is characterized by its high flexibility, making it easy to install and lay even in tight spaces.
Construction and properties
PUR (Polyurethane) cable stands out for its exceptional resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of mineral oils and coolants. This makes it perfect for use in mechanical engineering, construction, rolling mills and steelworks – anywhere it is exposed to intensive use and contact with aggressive substances. The cable cores are made of stranded copper, providing them with adequate flexibility and mechanical strength. Core insulation is made of oil-resistant PVC. The cores have digital numbering for easy identification during installation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and hydrolysis. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
Applications and technical parameters
This cable is used in both dry and wet installations, as well as outdoors. It is ideal for flexible connections with medium mechanical load, where tensile stresses do not occur. Thanks to the wide range of operating temperatures (-40°C to +80°C), it can be used in various environmental conditions. The outer diameter of the cable is 7.3 mm and the core cross-section is 1 mm². The test voltage is 4000 V and the breakdown voltage is at least 8000 V. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius for flexible laying is 7.5 x cable diameter and for fixed laying – 4 x cable diameter. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-1 /DIN EN 50525-1 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
