Control cable for demanding conditions

This flexible control cable with a shielding braid is designed for use in areas exposed to intense mechanical stress, the action of oils and coolants. It is ideal for use in mechanical engineering, building installations, rolling mills and steelworks. The cable construction ensures reliable transmission of signals and pulses, minimizing interference. Made of high-quality materials, it guarantees long life and safe use.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, designed for difficult working conditions. Twisted copper strands provide flexibility and resistance to bending. PVC TI2 insulation resistant to oils facilitates work in industrial environments. A copper braid screen effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in precise control systems. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, tearing and UV radiation. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.

The cable has 3 cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², which allows it to be used in various electrical installations. The rated voltage U is 500V. Thanks to the outer diameter of 5.9 mm, the cable is easy to install and route. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -20°C to +80°C (flexible), making it a universal solution for many applications. An important feature is also the meter scale printed on the cable, which facilitates precise cutting and installation.
