Flexible cable for industrial and control applications
This grey flexible cable F-C-PURÖ-OZ 2x4 with a cross-section of 4 mm² is a reliable solution for demanding applications. The cable is characterized by high flexibility, which facilitates and speeds up installation, even in hard-to-reach places. The braided screen minimizes electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing stable signal transmission. Additionally, oil resistance – especially to coolants – makes it an ideal choice for industrial environments.
Construction and properties
The cable is constructed of stranded copper conductors, surrounded by oil-resistant PVC insulation. The conductors are twisted in parallel and protected by an insulating foil and a braided screen of tinned copper wires (85% coverage). The whole is covered with a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating, providing resistance to abrasion, tearing and UV radiation. Thanks to the non-woven separator, stripping the insulation is easy and quick.
It is worth noting the wide range of operating temperatures: from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -20°C to +80°C (flexible). The cable complies with the standards E DIN VDE 0285-525-1/ DIN EN 50525-1 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
