Submersible pump cable – reliable power supply in harsh conditions

This blue HELUPOWER® AQUATIC-750-BLUE cable with a cross-section of 1x25 mm² is a specialized solution for powering submersible pumps, especially those used for drinking water. The cable's construction is designed for long-term and safe operation in demanding environments, including immersion in water to a depth of up to 600 meters. It is suitable for both domestic installations and industrial applications – processing plants, fish farms or aquariums.

Construction and application

The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0250/DIN VDE 0285-525-1/DIN EN 50525-1, which guarantees its high quality and safety. It is made of a multi-strand copper conductor class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) insulated with PVC. The strands are twisted in a way that minimizes interference. The outer jacket is made of a crosslinked halogen-free plastic, which provides resistance to mechanical damage and chemical factors. Core identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308. The cable is characterized by flexibility in the temperature range from -25°C to +50°C and resistance to stationary temperature from -40°C to +80°C.

Safety and hygiene – key advantages

HELUPOWER® AQUATIC-750-BLUE has a PZH certificate allowing it to come into contact with drinking water, which is particularly important when used in submersible pumps used to supply water intended for human consumption. In addition, the cable is resistant to chlorine (up to 0.6 mg/l) and salt water (up to 6%), which expands its range of applications. The cable has passed DVGW Standard W 270 tests confirming its compliance with strict quality standards. The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces.
