Flexible cable for industrial and robotics applications
This 7-core flexible cable JZ-HF 0.75 mm² is the ideal solution wherever exceptional flexibility and resistance to mechanical loads are required. It is perfect for mechanical engineering, robotics, device manufacturing, and flexible connections without tensile stress. The cable is particularly recommended for use in energy chains, although it is important to follow the rules of proper installation.
The cable is characterized by high quality workmanship and compliance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards. Made of oxygen-free, fine-stranded copper with PVC insulation, it ensures reliable operation in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -10°C to +80°C (flexible). The cable cores are black with white numbers for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor.
Construction and properties
The JZ-HF cable has been designed with demanding applications in mind. Its construction includes:
- Unannealed copper cores, fine-stranded class 6 according to DIN VDE 0295.
- PVC Z 7225 insulation providing good electrical insulation.
- Parallel twisted cores for increased flexibility.
- Braided fabric covering to reinforce the cable structure.
- Outer jacket made of special PVC TM5 providing resistance to abrasion and external factors.
The material used in production does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The PVC is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1-2 standards. The cable is also oil-resistant (DIN VDE 0473-811-404 / DIN EN 60811-404).
User parameters and scope of application
This cable stands out with a number of parameters affecting its functionality:
- Nominal core cross-section: 0.75 mm².
- Rated voltage: 500 V.
- Outer diameter: approximately 8.3 mm.
- Minimum bending radius: 7.5 x cable diameter (flexible) or 4 x cable diameter (for fixed installation).
- Radiation resistance: up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad).
Thanks to these properties, the cable finds application not only in mechanical engineering and robotics, but also in device manufacturing and wherever a durable and flexible control cable is needed. It is a solid choice for both professional installers and end users looking for a reliable solution.
