Construction and properties
The cable features a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It consists of 18 stranded copper conductors (class 5), insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The conductors are twisted in parallel for optimal pitch, and the whole is surrounded by an inner braid of PVC fleece. A key element is the screen made of spirally wrapped copper wires (minimum 85% coverage), which effectively protects against electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket is made of durable PVC (TM5), providing resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The conductors are numbered with white digits for easy identification. A version with a yellow-green protective conductor is also available.
Parameters and application
The JZ-HF-CY 18G0,5 cable has a cross-section of 0.5 mm² and a rated voltage of 500 V. It complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards. The permissible operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -10°C to +80°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter for flexible operation and 5x cable diameter for fixed installation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 13.8 mm. This cable is perfect for flexible connections where high flexibility and resistance to mechanical loads are required. Thanks to the shielding, it ensures stable signal transmission in environments with a high level of interference. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting, making it safe to use.
