High-temperature PVC cable – reliability in harsh conditions

This flexible HELUTHERM® 120 cable, made from special PVC, is designed for operation at elevated temperatures. It is an ideal solution for use in machines, equipment and motors where standard cables fail. Compliance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11 / DIN EN 50525-2-11 standards guarantees safety and high quality.

Construction and application

This cable is particularly recommended for installation in places exposed to high temperatures, such as paint shops, dryers or in the vicinity of motors. It will work in dry, damp and wet rooms as well as outdoors. Thanks to its flexible construction and temperature resistance up to +105°C (short-term even +120°C), it ensures continuous operation even in demanding conditions.

• Conductors: 18 stranded copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl. 5 / BS 6360 cl. 5 / IEC 60228 cl.5 – provide good conductivity and flexibility.
• Insulation: Made of high-temperature PVC TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3 / DIN EN 50363-3), guarantees safety and insulation durability.
• Conductor marking: Colored conductors (up to 5 conductors) or black with white numbering (above 6 conductors) facilitate identification and connection of conductors according to DIN VDE 0293-308.
• Protective conductor: Option available with a yellow-green protective conductor placed externally (from 3 conductors).
• Outer jacket: Made of special TM3 PVC resistant to high temperatures (DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1 / DIN EN 50363-4-1), provides additional protection against external factors.

The conductor cross-section is 0.5 mm², and the outer diameter is approximately 10.7 mm. This cable is available in black (RAL 9005). The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substances, which is important for many industrial applications.
