PVC cable resistant to high temperatures HELUTHERM® 120 25G0,5 mm² black, wire identification according to DIN VDE 0293-308 24009

PVC cable resistant to high temperatures – reliability in harsh conditions

This flexible HELUTHERM® 120 cable, made of high-quality PVC, is designed to operate at elevated temperatures. It is an ideal solution where standard cables fail – in machines, devices and motors exposed to heat, such as paint shops or dryers. This cable will work in dry, humid, wet environments and outdoors.

Construction and application

The HELUTHERM® 120 cable is characterized by a construction that provides high flexibility and mechanical resistance. It is made of stranded copper conductors, insulated with special PVC TI3. These conductors are twisted in parallel and surrounded by an outer jacket of high-temperature resistant PVC TM3. The black color (RAL 9005) facilitates identification. The cable is available in metered versions.

The application of this cable includes:

  • Connecting heat-generating devices
  • Industrial machines and equipment
  • Electric motors operating at elevated temperatures
  • Installations in paint shops and dryers
  • Internal and external applications

Key features and benefits

  • High temperature resistance: The cable withstands temperatures up to +105°C (short-term up to +120°C), ensuring safe and reliable operation in demanding conditions.
  • Flexibility: The construction with stranded conductors provides high flexibility, making it easier to install and route cables in tight spaces.
  • Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11 / DIN EN 50525-2-11 and IEC 60227/56 and IEC 60227/57, guaranteeing safety of use.
  • Insulation strength: TI3 PVC insulation provides high resistance to mechanical and chemical damage.
  • Conductor identification: Color-coded conductors according to DIN VDE 0293-308 facilitate correct cable connection. For a larger number of conductors (above 6), white numbering on a black background is used.
  • Protective conductor: Version available with a yellow-green protective conductor (G) for increased installation safety.
  • Wide operating temperature range: The ability to operate in the range from -30°C to +105°C (flexibly from -5°C to +105°C) allows it to be used in various environmental conditions.

Additionally, this cable does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting, making it environmentally friendly and safe to use. It also has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
