This flexible PVC cable, known as HELUTHERM® 120, is designed to operate at elevated temperatures, making it an ideal choice for industrial and machine applications where standard cables fail. Compliance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11 / DIN EN 50525-2-11 guarantees its safety and reliability. This cable is particularly recommended for machines and equipment operating at high temperatures, such as paint shops or dryers.
Construction and properties
The HELUTHERM® 120 cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-term operation. Made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) both in the core insulation and the outer coating, it offers good resistance to abrasion and weathering. Multi-wire copper cores (class 5) provide flexibility and facilitate installation. Color coding of the cores according to DIN VDE 0293-308 simplifies correct connection. The cable is available in black (RAL 9005).
The permissible operating temperature range is -30°C to +105°C (short-term up to +120°C), allowing its use in a wide range of conditions. The rated voltage is 500 V, and the core cross-section is 4 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10 mm. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs. The materials used in production are cadmium and silicone-free and do not contain substances harmful to paints.
