High-temperature resistant PVC cable – reliability in harsh conditions
This flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cable is designed for operation in demanding environments where standard cables fail. It features high temperature resistance, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications, machines and equipment generating heat. It will work well in paint shops, drying rooms, and anywhere where the ambient temperature exceeds the capabilities of traditional cables.
HELUTHERM® 120 4G4 mm² cable combines a solid construction with high-quality materials. The use of special PVC in the insulation of the cores and the outer jacket ensures long-lasting and safe operation even in extreme conditions. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11 / DIN EN 50525-2-11 standards, guaranteeing its quality and safety.
Construction and user parameters
The cable consists of four cores with a cross-section of 4 mm², made of stranded copper (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295). The cores are insulated with special PVC (TI3), and their color identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308. The yellow-green protective conductor is located on the outside of the structure, providing additional safety. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of PVC (TM3) in black (RAL 9005). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 12 mm.
Thanks to its flexible construction, the cable is easy to lay and install. The permissible operating temperature range is from -30°C to +105°C (short-term up to +120°C), allowing it to be used in a wide range of applications. The rated voltage U is 500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x outer diameter for flexible bending and 4 x outer diameter for stationary bending.
