PVC cable resistant to high temperatures – reliability in harsh conditions
This flexible HELUTHERM® 120 cable, with a cross-section of 1 mm² and seven cores, is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cabling fails. It is characterized by high temperature resistance, making it an ideal solution for machines and equipment generating heat. The cable's cores are identified by colors according to DIN VDE 0293-308, which simplifies installation and subsequent servicing.
Construction and application
The cable is made of special PVC, which provides not only resistance to high temperatures (up to +105°C) but also flexibility and durability. It complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11 / DIN EN 50525-2-11 standards, which guarantees its safety and reliability. It is perfect for paint shops, drying rooms and other industrial facilities where elevated temperatures occur. It can be used both in dry and humid rooms, as well as outdoors.
Key features and benefits
- High temperature resistance: The cable retains its working properties even at temperatures up to +105°C (short-term up to +120°C), which increases safety and extends the life of the installation.
- Flexibility: Multi-wire core construction (class 5) ensures easy installation and routing of cables in tight spaces.
- Durable insulation: PVC TI3 insulation protects the cores from mechanical damage and external factors.
- Safety: Compliance with DIN VDE standards and tests confirming self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties ensure a high level of safety.
- Core identification: Colored core markings simplify identification and connection of cables, minimizing the risk of errors during installation.
- Wide temperature range: The cable can be operated in a temperature range from -30°C to +105°C (flexibly from -5°C to +105°C), making it a versatile solution for various applications.
- Protective conductor: An optional yellow-green protective conductor (G) increases the safety of the electrical installation.
Additionally, the cable is characterized by an insulation resistance of min. 20 MOhm x km and a test voltage of 2000V, which confirms its high quality of workmanship. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.
