This metered HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K control and power cable is a versatile solution for flexible power connections where medium mechanical stress is required. This cable is perfect for both indoor and outdoor installations, in dry, damp or wet conditions. The possibility of direct laying in the ground or in pipes further increases its range of applications.

This cable is particularly recommended in mechanical engineering, conveyor systems, air conditioning systems and industrial automation systems. Thanks to its properties, it can be used as a power or control cable, especially where higher operating temperatures or voltages are required. Made of high-quality materials, specifically an outer jacket made of special PVC, it provides UV resistance and makes the cable ideal for use with mobile or portable devices and machines. Alternatively, it can also be used as a power cable for stage and lighting applications.

Construction and properties

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable is characterized by a solid construction based on copper conductors insulated with XLPE type DIX 3. The conductors are color-coded according to PN-HD 308 S2 (up to 5 conductors) or coded according to EN 50334 (above 5 conductors). The outer jacket is made of special PVC type DMV-18, which provides resistance to external factors and high durability. This cable is available in a version with a protective conductor (marked as G) or without it (marked as X).

It is worth paying attention to a number of important features: the operating temperature range flexibly from -5°C to +90°C and stationary from -15°C to +90°C guarantees reliable operation over a wide temperature range. The operating voltage (AC) of 0.6/1 kV enables the use of the cable in various electrical installations. UV resistance ensures long-term operation even outdoors. Oil resistance increases the cable's resistance to damage in industrial environments. Minimum bending radius - flexibly 10 x cable diameter, stationary depending on diameter (up to 25mm: 4xØ; 25-50mm: 5xØ; above 50mm: 6xØ) - facilitates installation and cable routing in tight spaces. Flame retardancy confirmed by tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1-2 increases the safety level of the installation.

Applications and compliance with standards

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable meets the requirements of IEC 60502-1, UNE 21123-2 and UNE HD 603-1 standards. This is a product compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). This ensures its safety and reliability. This cable is used wherever a flexible power connection is needed with medium mechanical stress - both in fixed installations and in moving machines and equipment.
