Control and power cable for demanding applications

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable is a flexible solution for power and control connections, designed for medium mechanical stress. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations – in dry, humid, and even wet conditions. The possibility of direct laying in the ground or in pipes increases its versatility. This cable is particularly recommended in mechanical engineering, conveyor systems, air conditioning equipment, and industrial automation.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a 3+1/2 construction according to UNE 21123-2. Its copper conductors, made according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, are insulated with XLPE type DIX 3 (UNE HD 603-1), which ensures high temperature resistance – up to +90°C during continuous operation and +250°C for 5 seconds in the event of a short circuit. The outer jacket made of special PVC (DMV-18) guarantees resistance to UV radiation, making it ideal for outdoor applications and as a connection cable for mobile devices. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substances.

Applications and benefits

This cable is not only reliable and durable, but also versatile. It can be used as a power or control cable where higher operating temperature or voltage is required. Thanks to its UV resistance, it is perfect as a connection cable for machines and portable devices. Alternatively, it can be used in stage and lighting installations. Conductor identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 (up to 5 conductors) or EN 50334 (above 5 conductors), which facilitates installation and servicing. The cable is available in a version with a protective conductor (G) or without it (X). It is worth remembering the minimum bending radius: flexible 10x cable diameter and stationary – up to 25 mm: 4x cable diameter, from 25 to 50 mm: 5x cable diameter, and above 50 mm: 6x cable diameter.
